Ready to Assist

Our advocates assist victim-survivors of domestic abuse. We provide guidance and answer general questions about the following civil legal matters:

  • Custody (Parental Rights and Responsibilities)
  • Divorce
  • Protection from Abuse Orders
  • Protection from Harassment Orders

Our Community and Legal Advocates can  accompany victim-survivors to court to provide emotional support. We  can also help negotiate final orders.

Legal Representation

New Hope for Women partners with Pine Tree Legal Assistance, Inc. to represent victim-survivors in cases involving Protection from Abuse Orders. When Pine Tree Legal Assistance is not available, we make every effort to request legal representation from local attorneys and are often able to pay for those attorneys.

New Hope for Women also works with attorneys to identify opportunities for survivors to obtain legal representation for family matters such as divorce.

We're standing by to help
